Metal Rose

metal rose 2I recently finished painting what I call my “metal rose.” As  I assembled the metal pieces together it came to look like somewhat of a rose to me.  My husband welded  the pieces together, and then I painted it. After I finished painting it, I am also reminded of a dream catcher.  I do love this piece, and I would like to sell something like this to others.   The stem of this flower is heavy, so we are working on solutions to make this more affordably mail-able.  In the meantime it looks pretty cool in my yard, and it will always be in bloom!

The next challenge on my plate is to create a  metal tulip!
