A Santa Fe Stay

Following our quick roll through the “ABQ” of New Mexico last month, we drove up to Santa Fe.   We found it to be so charming.  We stayed at the El Rey Inn.  It was pretty, peaceful, quaint and unpretentious.

The entrance is a gravel driveway that seems like a portal transporting you from suburbia to the countryside with room patios adorned with potted and hanging basket of flowers, and wall accents of Spanish tiles.  This fountain was on the way to the pool from our room: at night.santa fe el rey 3
